Senior Acquisition Manager
Job Description and Requirements:
USfalcon, recognized as one of the fastest growing, privately held companies in the United States, is seeking a Senior Acquisition Manager to work out of Wright Patterson AFB, OH.
**Requirements:**
* Master's degree from an accredited institution and a minimum of 10 years of experience or a minimum of 20 years of experience with a Bachelor's
degree from an accredited institution.
**Clearance:**- Ability to obtain a Final Secret Security Clearance.
**Travel:**
* CONUS travel may be required.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, and Outlook).
* Demonstrated experience supporting or working within a Director's Action Group (DAG) or Commander's Action Group (CAG) operations, or with the Air
Force Senior Officer Communication and Coordination Electronic Resource (SOCCER).
* Demonstrated experience developing, staffing, and tracking complex written documentation (i.e., staff packages) and briefings at program office,
Program Executive Officer, Air Staff and OSD levels.
* Demonstrated familiarity with the administration of SharePoint sites and other internal IT-based distribution systems.
* Experience with development, verification and/or production of fixed wing aircraft across the acquisition lifecycle (per DoDI 5000.02).
* Demonstrated capability to support the development of program requirements documents, produce and/or review products for program office use--to
include acquisition strategies and plans, integrated schedules, all required program documentation, program risk management plans and tracking, and
proposal evaluation. Support program execution per established strategies and plans, support all program milestones, and provide support for briefings
and meetings as required.
* Experience with the support for all aspects of program cost, schedule, and performance. Track appropriation and allocation of funds to ensure the
efficient obligation and execution of funds and ensure costs and scheduled activities are aligned and tracked to meet program goals.
* Demonstrated ability to participate in the planning and supporting of technical interchange meetings, design reviews, program management reviews,
production and sustainment reviews and other meetings as required. Participate in system developer or original equipment manufacturer technical and
programmatic reviews, identify risks, and develop mitigation plans.
Duties:
* Perform analysis, research, planning, and logistics support efforts integrating separate functions of supply, maintenance, procurement, and quality
assurance required for lifecycle support of various engine program(s)
* Provide acquisition program management support for all phases of the acquisition lifecycle commensurate with the Tanker Directorate portfolio.
* Support the development of program requirements documents and produce and/or review products for program office use.
* Provide support for all aspects of program cost, schedule, and performance.
* Track appropriation and allocation of funds to ensure the efficient obligation and execution of funds and ensure costs and scheduled activities are aligned
and tracked to meet program goals.
* Provide expertise to support meetings and provide rapid response acquisition surge support for new start or other identified programs.
* Assist in development of Request for Proposals and participate in Source Selections when appropriate.
* Participate in the planning and supporting of technical interchange meetings, design reviews, program management reviews, production and sustainment
reviews and other meetings as required.
* Track technical, schedule, and cost metrics and report status.
* Organize and assist in managing critical aspects of the development, production, deployment, and sustainment of software capabilities on Acquisition
Category programs with the Tanker Directorate portfolio.
* Provide schedule analysis of oversearching programs' Integrated Master Schedule with knowledge of OEM-specific scheduling tools.
* Assist with Data Item Descriptions, Contract Data Requirements Lists, data cells, and reviews.
* Knowledgeable of the application of program management initiatives to include purchasing commercial items.
* Additional duties as assigned.
